MONROE HIGH TWILIGHT MEET

The theme at Monroe High School’s annual Twilight Track Meet was “LIGHT IT UP BLUE”. The students used the Meet as a fundraising campaign donating proceeds from ticket sales, concessions, etc. to non profit organizations that serve children living with autism. Agility Angels was chosen to be a recipient of the event for the second year in a row. Several of the Angels coaches and dogs were on hand to talk about the program and answer questions. We would like to extend a Huge THANK YOU to the entire staff and student body at Monroe High School!!

ANGELS VOLUNTEER AT MARATHON

Agility Angels along with family and friends have again hosted Water Stop #3 for the Glass City Marathon. Water Stop #3 is located at the 4.1 mile mark of the 26.2 mile course. Over 4,200 runners passed through our stop this year with many runners expressing their gratitude for their water or Gatorade. This year we were assisted by 67 volunteers including staff from Eddie Lee’s Restaurant, Charlie’s Homemade Ice Cream, Optical Arts, and Ottawa Hills Girl Scout Troop #11047. We would like to express our thanks for a job well done to all those who braved the extremely wet rainy conditions and the very early hour to volunteer their time making this event a complete success.

ANGELS LAND AT THE GLASS BOWL

Agility Angels Students, Dogs & Coaches put on a demo show preceding the Glass City Kids Marathon today. The show took place on the field of the UT Rockets Glass Bowl Stadium. The Students, and Dogs did a wonderful job maneuvering the course. The huge crowd that gathered to watch was very enthusiastic. Thanks to all that participated to make this event a huge success!!

ANGELS AT MODEL SCHOOL EXPO

Agility Angels worked a booth at the Autism Model School’s Breakfast Expo for Autism Awareness Month. The purpose of the expo was to get the word out about all the services and programs available for Autism. The Angel Dogs drew a great deal of attention.

TGI Friday’s Fundraiser for Agility Angels was a Great Success!! Thank you to the management and staff at the TGI Friday’s located at 1334 Bernath Parkway in Toledo, Ohio for hosting this fundraiser for us. We would also like to thank all those who worked, those who donated, the employees who donated their tips and those who came out to have a wonderful dinner to support Agility Angels!!! Thank You Again!!

KROGER REWARDS PROGRAM BENEFITS AGILITY ANGELS

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS

The Kroger Community Rewards Program benefits Agility Angels every time you shop at a Kroger store. When your Kroger Plus card is swiped at the register a portion of your total purchase is given to Agility Angels.

Kroger does require that once you have designated Agility Angels as the recipient of your reward dollars that you renew annually. You may start to renew in April of each year and must be done by the end of May. All you need to do is sign up and that is easy.
