The 2013 Give Autism The Boot Fundraiser was a huge success. This annual event is put on by the Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism. The funds raised are used to help those living with Autism. Agility Angels had 33 of their own working the 2 day campaign. We had Coaches, Parents, Students and Friends along with 16 of our Angel Dogs accepting donations at the local Bob Evans Restaurants.

Five Agility Angels students entered competition at the Banda Agility Trial in Delta, Ohio. All ran a course in Jumpers and Full House. Everyone Qualified!! There were seven first places and one second place. Two of the students were running new dogs to the Agility Angels program and one ran her own dog. The students also helped by working. They were leash running, sheet running and course setting. Just amazing to watch!!!
The theme at Monroe High School’s annual Twilight Track Meet was “LIGHT IT UP BLUE”. The students used the Meet as a fundraising campaign donating proceeds from ticket sales, concessions, etc. to non profit organizations that serve children living with autism. Agility Angels was chosen to be a recipient of the event for the second year in a row. Several of the Angels coaches and dogs were on hand to talk about the program and answer questions. We would like to extend a Huge THANK YOU to the entire staff and student body at Monroe High School!!
